The Homestead development gathers momentum

It has been six months since Really Epic Dog Group broke ground in Nambiti Game Reserve and while much of the world has stood still, The Homestead has continued to develop at an impressive pace.

The Homestead, located on the breath-taking Nambiti Big Five Private Game Reserve in South Africa, is soon to become a world-leading, luxury game lodge.

Designed to provide people with unique experiences, The Homestead will help people to discover new ways in which they can make a positive impact on the world around them.

This has been the vision of Really Epic Dog Group’s Chairman Wayne Scholes for many years, and it is now being brought to life.

“This is the Group’s first move into the hospitality industry, but the values and expectations remain the same. We want to give our guests experiences that will change the way they see the world. We will provide experiences that they will remember forever.”

No better setting to deliver such memorable experiences than the stunning Nambiti Big Five Game Reserve. The only reserve in the Kwazulu-Natal region to boast all five of Africa’s Big Five game animals – lion, leopard, rhinoceros (both black and white species), elephant and Cape buffalo. As well as over 40 other species, not including the birdlife.

Really Epic Dog Group’s investment was recently recognised by President Ramaphosa at the South Africa Investment Conference 2020.

Ben Smith, President of Really Epic Dog Group, said “Investing in South Africa is something that is important to us. With the world starting to emerge from the pandemic, we hope The Homestead can show that we believe there are better days ahead for the tourism industry and for South Africa. We have already begun to recruit a number of key roles and we are committed to bring in the best talent and also to recruit those who perhaps don’t have experience in the industry and give them the skills and training to succeed.”
